Crystalyx brand HE-12% 1% MAG is a unique, high energy supplement consisting of a nutrient-dense blend of molasses solids, protein meals, hydrolyzed vegetable oil, vitamins, minerals and trace minerals. HE-12% 1% MAG provides essential supplemental nutrients to livestock consuming moderate to high quality forages. The continuous nutrient availability of HE-12% 1% MAG promotes efficient utilization of supplemental nutrients.

Feeding Directions

Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake. Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to under-utilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization. Feed at the rate of one (1) container for every 20 to 30 head. A minimum of (2) two containers may be required in each lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility. Free-choice consumption will depend on the size of the animals, seasonal weather conditions, as well as, quality, source and availability of other feeds. Cattle typically consume between 225 to 454 grams per-head, per-day.

Features & Benefits

High energy level. HE-12% 1% MAG contains no non-nutritive fillers or binders and has almost no moisture (typically 2% to 5%). HE-12% 1% MAG is a nutrient-dense product that can be fed to animals consuming moderate to high quality forages without a depression in forage utilization.

Continuous availability of HE-12% 1% MAG provides a frequent supply of small amounts of energy. Can enhance forage utilization rather than interfere with it, which is often seen with grain-based supplements. HE-12% 1% MAG can increase energy status by providing energy directly to the animal and by increasing forage digestion.

Minerals and vitamins. Mineral and vitamin supplementation in HE-12% 1% MAG impacts forage digestion by rumen microorganisms, as well as metabolism and productivity of the animal.

Palatability. High palatability of molasses ensures beef cattle throughout your herd will consume supplemental nutrients in HE-12% 1% MAG. Animals consume HE-12% 1% MAG for the molasses, but they receive concentrated amounts of additional energy, protein, minerals, trace minerals and vitamins each time they lick the block.

Continuous protein supplementation. Amino acids and peptides are required by rumen microorganisms to maximize forage digestion. Rumen microorganisms can benefit from the continuous availability of amino acids and peptides provided by HE-12% 1% MAG Supplement.

Plant proteins in HE-12% 1% MAG are combined with molasses solids and hydrolyzed vegetable oil. Provides a properly balanced protein and energy supplement to complement moderate to high quality forages.
